The first item on the list of dance items after the 15-minute interval of DITM, is the Traditional Step Song, or "Ta4 Ge1", choreographed by Mdm Chen Lili. It is a dance where the girls sing to the music and do many graceful movements mostly involving light steps on the ground, which gives this dance its name. The speciality of the dance is that the hair accesories and parts of the costume were hand-made by the dancers themselves. Also, this dance item was so well-received that it has been selected to perform in last year's Mid-Autumn Festival Celebrations organised by the school.
