Opening the performance of "Dance Into the Millenium" is Mother In The Candlelight, or "Zhu2 Guang1 Li3 De4 Ma1 Ma1",a dance dedicated to all mothers attending the dance performance, especially the late Mrs Ong Teng Cheong @ Mdm Ling Siew May, a very dedicated member of the school's alumni board. This dance is performed by most of the sec ones'99 as well as some of the sec twos & threes, led by our alumni dancer Samantha Lee & Wu Xiao Yuan, her sec two understudy for the afternoon performance. This solemn dance is choreographed by Mdm Chen Lili.
